Spanish outlet Super Deporte claim that the Old Gold are in the race for the South Korean international.

The competition is stiff, with the likes of AC Milan and Spanish champions Atletico Madrid also apparently keen.

Lee has just a year left on his Valencia contract, which means that a cut price deal could be on the cards.

 

A price isn’t mentioned in the piece, but there appears to be the chance here to sign a talented 20-year-old creative midfielder for less than he’d usually go for.
