Striker Niall Ennis has officially left Wolves to join Plymouth Argyle.
The 21-year-old is embarking on a new chapter in his career after joining the Wanderers at the age of eight.
Ennis rose through the youth ranks and penned his first professional contract at the club in 2015.
His form during his teenage years led him to represent England at U16, 17, 18 and 19 levels.
The youngster had a spell with Shrewsbury Town but that had to be cut short due to a serious knee injury.
After making his first-team Wolves debut against Shrewsbury in an FA Cup fourth round replay, Ennis then had spells at Doncaster Rovers last season, and Burton Albion for the first half of 2020/21.
He leaves the club on a permanent basis for an undisclosed fee.
Argyle currently lie 15th in League One and are hopeful of sealing a top-half finish come the end of the season.
On social media, Wolves fans have been reacting to the news of Ennis’ departure.
It seems that some are a little sorry to see the talented 21-year-old leave Molineux before he’s made a league appearance:
Shame but injuries ruined it for him. All the best Nial

A real shame things didn’t happen for him at Wolves. Injuries and the rise to the Prem curtailed his opportunities.

Can’t lie I’m gutted. There ain’t many that come through the academy and make it into the first team but I was convinced he was one of them. Good luck @Niall_ennis46 https://t.co/MmRT8GqDPU
