Roma have been linked with a swoop for Wolves midfielder Leander Dendoncker.
Reports in Italy claim that Jose Mourinho wants to improve his midfield options before the end of the transfer window.
Belgian international Dendoncker is apparently one of the names on his list, but Roma need to sell to buy.
They reportedly gave Wolves the chance to sign Amadou Diawara, but that deal isn’t happening.

The price is apparently a problem for Roma, anyway. The report claims Wolves want more than £21 million.
Some supporters on Twitter had their own ideas of what Dendoncker’s valuation should be.
Others said that the club should perhaps consider cashing in, to fund improvements in other areas of the squad.
Here’s how the report went down as Wolves gear up for their final game of pre-season, against Celta Vigo tomorrow:
I mean, if we’re looking to sell to buy, then this is the one…

I’d want 30m at very least

It's a weird one on paper hes not worth 25m. But for wolves, considering the depth of midfield, he's worth more than 25m as wolves can't afford to let him head off yet. Poor window thus far.

Imagine us approaching Liverpool for Origi with a ten mil bid and them saying he's worth 20 in this market, and then someone at wolves was like that means Dendoncker is worth 25 mil. There's a time to haggle and there's a time to get some of that Paulhina money when you can.

Def take the £21.2m for him.

This makes sense if we are intent on playing the old man every game. Funds towards a decent replacement Mr Palhinha

Cash in, snap their hands off

Make it £25m and that’s a brilliant deal

Even if he don’t go, would be nice to sign a quality centre mid
