Renat Dadashov is apparently set to leave Wolves on loan in the not too distant future.
The Express and Star’s Wolves correspondent Liam Keen reported earlier today that the striker is bound for C.D. Tondela.
They play in the Portuguese Primeira Liga and finished 12th in that division last season.
This will be the striker’s third loan spell away from Wolves and he’ll be hoping for a change of luck.
In August 2019, he headed for Portuguese outfit Pacos de Ferreira on loan but only made seven league appearances, failing to score.
He had even worse luck during his second loan spell last season, with Grasshoppers, a club Wolves have a strong relationship with.
But the striker got a knee ligament injury in training, which cut short his loan in October 2020.
So he’ll be hoping it’s third time lucky and that he can come back with a full season and some goals under his belt – once the move is confirmed.

Dadashov has had his chances in pre-season and some Wolves fans reacted to the news on the 22-year-old who’s yet to make a league appearance for the club.
Some felt he should have been kept around to develop under Bruno Lage, but others believe he’s best going somewhere he’ll play.
The most important thing is for him to keep fit. Then he can worry about impressing his new manager Pako Ayestarán.
Here’s how the report went down on Twitter as the striker moved closer to the exit:
he actually looked decent in the games he played but i think he does need a loan

He's been better than silva. Wrong man going on loan

It will do him some good if he doesn’t get any more injuries.

Room for a target striker as don't have one if Raul is out
