Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have today announced their second signing of the summer.
The club have moved to bring in Francisco Trincao on a season-long loan from Barcelona.
The club reportedly have an option to buy Trincao for around £25 million next year.
It is a positive move by the club, with Trincao a player with huge potential.
The Portuguese forward operates mainly as a right winger.
He’s versatile, but is most comfortable playing from the right and cutting in on his strong left foot.
With that in mind, it seems he could be good cover for the injured Pedro Neto.
While the consensus seems to be that Trincao is a brilliant addition by the club, some have actually expressed their concerns – specifically about what it could mean for Adama Traore.
The Spaniard’s future has been the subject of speculation this year.
The club supposedly want to extend the 25-year-old’s contract, with talks recently starting up again after they had stalled.
He is supposedly a transfer target for last season’s Champions League winners Chelsea.
With Trincao someone who likes to play from the right, some now fear the club may be more open to cashing in on Traore:
