Sasa Kalajdzic’s next move becomes more clear as Wolves striker ‘about to’ join new club

Wolves striker Sasa Kalajdzic looks to be on his way out of Molineux.

The majority of transfer business has been wrapped up before the September 1st deadline imposed on the top five leagues, but there is still time for deals to be done with other clubs around Europe.

Sasa Kalajdzic’s Wolves career has been a difficult journey, with the Austrian missing 500 days with his most recent injury.

He himself has discussed his dream of playing for Austria In next summer’s World Cup, but the arrival of Tolu Arokodare looks detrimental to his chances of playing meaningful minutes at Molineux this season.

Luckily for Kalajdzic, he appears to have a suitor.

Austrian Bundesliga side LASK plan to sign Sasa Kalajdzic on loan

Kalajdzic looks set for a return to his home country, with Austrian Bundesliga side LASK interested in taking the 28-year-old on loan.

It would be quite the coup for LASK to sign a player of the Austrian’s quality.

Though Wolves would likely rather a permanent move after an unsuccessful stint for Kalajdzic in England, they will hope he can rediscover the form he showed at Stuttgart and drive up his value.

LASK need to get a move on, though, as the Austrian deadline is today, Friday the 5th.

Wolves are well-stacked in the striker position after deadline day

While the tail end of the summer window was underwhelming, the signing of Tolu was welcome news.

Wolves managed to keep their star striker Jorgen Strand Larsen from Newcastle’s grip, and the addition of the Nigerian should mean Vitor Pereira is covered in that position.

Sure, more could have been done to add around the attack, but Wolves have two dominant goalscorers to hopefully share in the goals this season.

As for Kalajdzic, this loan could be perfect for him to rediscover his confidence and get his body used to the demands of regular gametime. Next summer, we could be looking at a very different player. .
