Time is of the essence as Wolves continue their preparations for the 2025/26 Premier League campaign.
Wolves are prioritising four key positions after signing Fer Lopez and Jhon Arias, with Vitor Pereira knowing the importance of replacing his most invaluable players.
With Rayan Ait-Nouri joining Manchester City and Nelson Semedo leaving Wolves, a new right wing-back and left wing-back are top of the priority list.
Wolves missed out on Samuel Lino to Flamengo, while work continues in their pursuit of a Semedo successor.
Supporters have been left frustrated by the lack of activity and fear that another relegation could be on the cards. That is the opposite of newly-promoted Wrexham, who are eyeing a promotion to the Premier League.

Wrexham want to sign former Wolves captain Conor Coady
Conor Coady is remembered by Wolves fans as one of their greatest modern defenders, although since leaving Molineux, the 32-year-old has struggled.
The former England international has been in and out of the team at Leicester City, with Wolves showing an interest in re-signing Coady in January 2025.
However, the Foxes rejected a swap deal involving veteran defender Craig Dawson, and now he’s being eyed with a switch elsewhere.
Rangers have held talks with Coady, and it looked increasingly likely he would join Russell Martin’s project at Ibrox until Wrexham threw a spanner in the works.
According to the Daily Mail, the Red Dragons are plotting an ambitious move for the former Wolves captain to aid their Premier League promotion bid.
Coady is thought to be ‘impressed’ by the progress Wrexham have made in the past few years, going from the National League in 2023 to the Championship in 2025, and now, he wants to join the project.
What other former Wolves players have been linked with moves
Coady isn’t the only former Molineux hero being linked with a transfer away from his current club, as Nuno Espirito Santo wants to sign Adama Traore for Nottingham Forest.
With his contract expiring in 2026, the electric winger could leave Fulham after two years and link-up with Nuno at the City Ground.
Morgan Gibbs-White was also linked to Tottenham and Manchester City earlier in the summer before sealing a lucrative new contract at Forest, shutting down any transfer speculation.
A graduate of the Wolves academy, Gibbs-White left Wolves in 2022 and has emerged as one of the Premier League’s best attacking midfielders.
Craig Dawson was also linked with a transfer to Wrexham after being released, with the 35-year-old still looking for a new club.
