Wolves will likely be busy in January, and there could be a potential opportunity on the horizon for new manager Rob Edwards.
Wolves need to make additions in the next window, with the squad not good enough at the moment.
The business that Wolves did in the summer was poor, with all the new recruits lacking crucial Premier League experience.
Wolves have tended to overlook players from Premier League clubs, and been fine for doing that. But in the last window, with so many players departing, it felt like the club needed one or two proven players.
It remains to be seen if Wolves will look more at players from Premier League clubs in January.
But the Wolves recruitment team – who are set to have more responsibility – will surely still have eyes on players in other leagues.
And there is a player over in the Bundesliga that Wolves have been linked with before who might take Edwards’ fancy.
Danilho Doekhi can leave Union Berlin in January after previous Wolves links

Wolves have been extremely poor at the back this season.
Vitor Pereira tried two different systems and while the move to a back four did at one point look to be a solution, Wolves still ended up shipping goals far too often.
A new centre-back is perhaps not at the top of Wolves’ agenda for the January window. But given how poor some have played, perhaps a move for a new one cannot be ruled out.
And one wonders if Danilho Doekhi will be of interest.
Sources informed Molineux News earlier this year that Wolves were looking at Union Berlin star Danilho Doekhi, along with Crystal Palace. In the end, Wolves landed Nasser Djiga, who is currently out on loan with Rangers.
And now there’s been a development with Doekhi.
On Tuesday, Fabrizio Romano reported on X that a January deal will be possible for any interested clubs.
He said: “Danilho Doekhi can leave Union Berlin in January with several clubs keen on the defender. Contract due to expire in June but move in January can be a possibility after six goals scored so far.”
Florian Plettenburg has also reported that Doekhi ‘intends’ to leave in the next window, with several clubs including some from England making enquiries.
Doekhi could be a bargain pick-up for Wolves, but it may be a tough sell

Wolves should first be going after a new midfielder in January, as that is the most pressing need right now.
But a move for Doekhi could be worth exploring, as he has made a big impression for Union Berlin and clearly, there is potential for a deal to be done in January, with the German club not wanting to lose him on a free at the end of the season.
Doekhi could genuinely be a great pick-up for Wolves if they can make room for him in the squad.
So far this term he has a 76% aerial duels success rate, which is higher than all of Wolves’ current centre-backs.
And Doekhi can clearly be useful in both boxes, having scored a hugely impressive six goals in 12 games this season from centre-back.
It is going to be so important for Wolves to spend their money wisely in January, and if there are any outgoings in terms of centre-backs, then Doekhi surely has to be an option to come in.
