Wolverhampton Wanderers apparently had a representative in attendance for FC Porto’s game with Tondela this weekend.
According to Portuguese outlet Record, Wolves had someone present at Estadio Joao Cardoso.

The article suggests that they were there to cast an eye over midfielder Vitinha.
The 21-year-old, of course, spent last season on loan at Molineux.
The star didn’t feature as much as he or some fans would have liked, making 22 appearances in total.
He started just five times in the Premier League.
Wolves had the option to sign Vitinha permanently at the end of his loan spell.
It would have reportedly set them back around £17 million.

But it was decided the clause would not be triggered, and Vitinha headed back to his parent club.
After biding his time in the opening weeks, Vitinha has now established himself in the Porto starting first-team.
He has started the last four league matches and has really caught the eye for a side still unbeaten in the league.
According to Record, representatives from several other teams were present at the match, which also featured Wolves’ Renat Dadashov for Tondela.
An interesting claim
This is a very intriguing claim from Record, and may well point to a fresh move from Wolves for Vitinha in January.
Some people felt that he had done enough to warrant a permanent transfer in the summer.
The Athletic reported back in June that Wolves didn’t move for him then because they didn’t feel totally convinced by his performances.

Currently, Wolves only have three options for central midfield – the same three options Nuno Espirito Santo was using last season.
There is definitely scope to add another, and Vitinha is showing at Porto he could be a great addition.
