Wolverhampton Wanderers are set for disappointment over Radu Dragusin, with the young defender reportedly ready to pen a new contract with Juventus.
According to Calciomercato, the 19-year-old centre-half is on the verge of penning a five-year deal with the Italian giants.
The development comes after Wolves got linked with Dragusin earlier this week.
Digisport claimed the Wanderers have been looking at the Romanian youth international.
But it seems any move to the Black Country this summer for the teenager is unlikely now.
Dragusin, Calciomercato say, is ready to commit his future to the Old Lady, with the foundations for an agreement having been laid in recent days.
There will be disappointment on the part of Newcastle United and RB Leipzig, who were also claimed to be in the frame to sign him.
Wolves need marquee CB addition
Dragusin looking set to sign a big contract with Juventus is a shame given his potential.
That said, Wolves need to be looking at higher-profile defenders this summer anyway after their struggles at the back this season.
Fosun need to bring in someone who is on Willy Boly’s level at least if the club are to tighten up defensively and become more competitive again next season.
