Reported Wolverhampton Wanderers target Kang-in Lee has supposedly turned down fresh terms at Valencia.
The attacking midfielder is claimed by Super Deporte to have rejected an offer of an improved deal at the Mestalla.
The outlet say the South Korean youngster may well have played his last game for the club, having failed to earn the trust of Javi Gracia.
The Spaniard was sacked a few weeks ago, but Lee hasn’t gotten much more game time under interim boss Voro.
Lee made only a handful of appearances for Los Che towards the end of 2020/21, and it seems the player may now be eyeing potential new opportunities.
It was claimed by Sport Aragorn last month that Lee could make a move to Molineux, with Valencia potentially signing Rafa Mir in a separate deal.
The update from Super Deporte should hopefully spring the Wolves board into action, with Lee an exciting young creative talent.
Wolves need someone like Lee
Wolves were toothless too often in 2020/21.
Yes the injuries did not help and Raul Jimenez’s absence really strung.
But it just felt there was often a lack of creativity from the midfield, and Lee is a technical player who could address that issue next season.
He’s drawn comparisons with David Silva in the past (Goal), which strongly suggests he’d be a good addition for a side that created the fewest big chances of all 20 teams in the Premier League in 2020/21 (Sky Sports, via Talking Wolves).
