Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly primed to land young Hibernian talent Murray Johnson.

As reported by the Daily Record, the 16-year-old is set to complete a move to Molineux, with the Scottish Premiership side ready to sign off on a £250,000 deal.

It’s claimed the starlet is ‘on the verge’ of moving to the Black Country, with Johnson having snubbed interest from Manchester City – whom he had a trial with – Arsenal, Leicester City and Chelsea.

Johnson has supposedly been training with the Hibs first-team recently, and is a Scotland U16 international.

The development comes after the talent had signed a new deal at Easter Road earlier this season.

The £250k deal that is in place over Johnson for Wolves apparently includes add-ons.

One for the future?

Johnson is clearly someone with a very big future.

It seems Wolves have done quite well to secure a deal ahead of some huge clubs, and hopefully Johnson can make a name for himself in the youth ranks.
