Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly battling four other clubs to land Gent striker Roman Yaremchuk.
Reports of interest from Wolves in Yaremchuk began to surface last week, but now Calciomercato are claiming there is a bit of a tussle breaking out over the 25-year-old.
They say Wolves are in the hunt along with Arsenal, AS Roma, Lazio and Sporting CP, who are said to be in pole position.
It potentially forces Wolves to get moving on a deal if they really want to sign the 22-cap Ukraine international.
Yaremchuk has been in fantastic form so far this season.
In 37 games across all comptetitions, he’s scored 20 goals and provided seven assists.
His goalscoring exploits are certainly very impressive, and are in stark contrast to the numbers put up by Wolves attackers this term.
Yaremchuk looking the part
Yaremchuk definitely seems to have a decent knack for scoring goals.
In 146 games for Gent he’s scored 58 times and made 17 assists.
With four other teams in the hunt it could be a struggle for Wolves to land him.
That said, any approach may be dependent on the form of Willian Jose and/or Rafa Mir, who is enjoying a brilliant loan spell with Huesca.
