Wolverhampton Wanderers are again being linked with a move for Rafael Leao.
Milan Live have stated that the Rossoneri hoping to count on the Portuguese star again for next season, but the picture could well change.

Currently, Milan are sitting fifth in Serie A, but level on points with the two teams above them, Juventus and Napoli.
They have really tailed off in recent weeks having been mixing it with rivals Inter Milan at the top at one stage.
Milan Live believe a poor finish to the season for the club, followed by the arrival of good offers for Leao could see him depart.

The publication says ‘it is not excluded’ that Leao could go, before mentioning Wolves as a possible destination.

It’s also stated that striker Leao – who has seven goals this term – has actually quite often played out of position, which could also have some bearing on what happens with him this summer.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has just signed a new deal with the club which, in theory, may limit opportunities through the middle for Leao.
Wolves may be in the market for a new striker this summer, with Willian Jose failing to impress since joining on loan, and Rafa Mir reportedly being considered for selling.

It probably isn’t too likely, but Milan potentially missing out on the Champions League may not make a deal impossible.
Time is rapidly running out for Jose to prove his worth for Wolves, and the club do need to be looking at alternatives.

Leao hasn’t always cut the mustard during his time at Milan so far, but him being young and sometimes playing out of position has not helped his cause.
As Milan Live suggest, a move to Wolves could mean less pressure for him to realise his high potential.
