Wolves are waiting to hear about Adama Traore, with the star reportedly having left the training camp to have a scan on his hamstring.
The Spain international traveled with the rest of his teammates to Alicante on Tuesday.
But he hasn’t trained with the group, instead focusing on strength and conditioning work.
He has now left and flown to Barcelona where he is having a scan on the injury, which he was apparently carrying before heading out to Spain, according to the Express & Star.
He likely picked it up in training at Compton Park upon returning to the club after his holiday to Dubai.
Wolves are waiting for news on the player. At this stage, the issue is not thought to be serious.
It is not clear how long Traore will be away from the rest of his teammates.
It is a frustrating blow for Bruno Lage, who has already lost Chiquinho to an ACL injury this summer.
The youngster sustained the serious injury in the pre-season game against Burnley.
Hopefully, the scan will not reveal anything concerning for Traore, and he will be back training again every soon.
