Francisco Trincao is reportedly all set to join Sporting CP following his loan spell with Wolves.
The winger has returned to his parent club Barcelona following his stint at Molineux.

2021/22 was very up and down for Trincao.
The youngster arrived at the club to plenty of hype, with fans massively excited to see him show why Barcelona paid £26 million to sign him from Braga (BBC Sport).
But Trincao would find the Premier League difficult to adapt to.
He showed his quality in flashes, but frustratingly lacked that consistency for Wolves.

Ultimately, he finished 2021/22 with just three goals to his name and one assist in 30 games.
At the weekend, Wolves announced Trincao would be heading back to Barcelona.

But it seems he won’t be staying there for too long, with Sport reporting the star is now one step away from returning to the Portuguese league with Sporting.
They have presented a loan offer with a £17 million buy option.
Wolves fans should brace for Trincao shining at Sporting
It seems Trincao is heading back to Portugal then. He was first linked with them a few weeks back.
There’s a strong chance he will do really well at Sporting.
They have been superb over the past couple of years under Ruben Amorim, winning the league title in 2020/21 and coming runners-up last season.
Trincao has worked with Amorim before at Braga, and so there’s a good chance he’ll respond well to working with him again.

Sporting play good, attacking football and it could really suit the star.
Wolves have made the right decision not to sign Trincao permanently. That said, he could still become an uncomfortable watch for some Wolves fans later down the line.
