Wolverhampton Wanderers’ young defender Dion Sanderson is reportedly on the radars of three Premier League clubs.
The 21-year-old is enjoying a fantastic season on loan at Sunderland, and yesterday grabbed his first goal for the Black Cats.
Sanderson took a bit of time to settle at the Stadium of Light, but is now a key cog in Lee Johnson’s side.
He has become a big fan favourite following a string of solid and mature performances, and he was recently described as ‘an absolute Rolls Royce’ of a player (Chronicle Live) by Johnson.
Sanderson’s recent form has been so good, that three Premier League clubs are now supposedly monitoring his development.
According to the Daily Mail, Sheffield United, Crystal Palace and Brighton are all tracking the player, with Sunderland keen to turn the youngster’s move permanent.
Wolves need to look at Sanderson
Sanderson is going from strength to strength at Sunderland, and it seems he is very much a wanted man now.
The club should surely be having a look at Sanderson in pre-season to see how he works with the first-team and whether he has the quality to do a job.
Potentially, he could end up saving the club millions in the transfer market if he proves himself ready to make the step up.
