The Rui Patricio to AS Roma links do not appear to be letting up.
The Wolverhampton Wanderers number one is said to be on the Italian club’s radar, following the appointment of Jose Mourinho earlier this month.

Mourinho is supposedly after a new stopper to kickstart his new project, and the likes of David De Gea and Sergio Romero have also been mentioned.
Today a new report from Calciomercato has emerged, and they reiterate the interest Roma have in Patricio, as well provide a valuation for the player.
Apparently Patricio would cost around €8-10 million (£6.8-8.6 million), with the player’s contract expiring in 2022.

The 33-year-old has been at Molineux since 2018, joining from Sporting CP for a reported fee of about £16 million (BBC Sport).
He’s clocked up 125 appearances in Old Gold so far.
Patricio has another year in him
Wolves don’t need to be considering selling Patricio for such an amount.
He may have dipped slightly this season, but he’s still had some fantastic games, and has plenty to offer next season.

Every player has a price of course, but £8.6 million would just not be worth entertaining.
£100,000-a-week star Patricio (Spotrac) is still largely dependable, and it would be a risk shelling out on somebody younger.
