Wolves winger Adama Traore reportedly still wants an exit from Molineux this month.

Eurosport claim there has been a ‘fall-out over his protracted contract negotiations’ and that has led to frustration on the part of both player and club.

There had recently been some talk about Traore’s lack of minutes, but the Spanish flyer has actually started the past three games, and has made a total of 18 appearances this season and has been on the pitch for a total of 1120 minutes.

It was also recently reported (90min) that Leeds United are showing an interest in the player, with Whites director of football Victor Orta well known to Traore from their time at Middlesbrough together.

Wolves are said by Eurosport to be willing to part with Traore for less than £50 million, and would apparently accept staggered payments.

It is also explained that Traore is keen to impress ahead of the European Championships in the summer.

Wolves should give Traore until summer

It hasn’t happened for Traore this season, but the club shouldn’t be looking to offload him just now.

Everybody knows what he can do, and it may be a mistake to look to cash in at the moment.

He was immense last season, and if he isn’t going to try and force a move this month, surely Wolves need to give him until the end of the current season before taking a decision on him.
