Rangers have ‘opened the door’ for Wolves to sign player before the deadline

Deadline Day looms and Wolves are still searching for players to add to their squad.

After three Premier League defeats in a row, getting more quality signings through the door has never been more important.

Tolu Arodokare’s move to Wolves looks to be happening, but personal terms are still to be agreed.

Hayden Hackney emerged as a midfield signing as of late, but Middlesbrough insist there has been no approach for the Englishman.

Now, Rangers midfielder Nicolas Raskin has been put on the market, and Wolves could take advantage.

Rangers open to letting Wolves target Nicolas Raskin leave

Rangers have opened the door to let Nicolas Raskin leave the Glasgow club ahead of the transfer deadline according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri.

The information from Tavolieri says that Rangers would be open to a loan with an obligation to buy for the player.

Crystal Palace alongside Wolves are the likely destinations for the midfielder should he leave the Scottish Premier League.

A loan with an obligation would be an ideal structure for Fosun, as the money involved could be put on next season’s books.

One issue they could face is that they need homegrown players for the squad, and the Belgian does not qualify for the quota.

Midfield signing is a must after loss to Everton

Andre’s performances for Wolves against Everton was quite concerning.

The midfielder was barely noticeable against the Toffees, and the Brazilian was recently dropped by Pereira, who said his role was not guaranteed.

After last season, the idea of dropping Andre would be laughed at by supporters, but his appearances have been far from impressive.

Bringing in Nicolas Raskin would give the manager more options, and show Andre that he has to fight to stay in the starting XI.

It has to be a busy last few days of the transfer window for Wolves, or else their squad might not be strong enough to stay in the Premier League.
