Wolverhampton Wanderers appear to have been priced out of any planned move for Rafael Leao this summer.
According to a report from Calciomercato, the Portuguese’s club AC Milan have now slapped a whopping £50 million price tag on him.
Leao has been enjoying a very good season over in Italy.

The talented 21-year-old has scored seven goals and made five assists so far in 2020/21, and has generally been a regular starter in the team along with Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
It seems Leao is finally hitting his stride with the Rossoneri, after struggling last season following a £25 million transfer from Sporting CP.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
Having watched his improvements, Milan technical director Paolo Maldini and sporting director Frederic Massara believe Leao is now ready to explode.

Calciomercato, who describe Leao as a ‘pure talent’, say the player has had a £50 million price tag placed on him in order to fend off potential suitors.
Wolves are mentioned in the report as having previously tested the waters without success.
Leao looks a pipe dream
Clearly Milan don’t want to part with Leao this summer following his upturn in form.
He is a very talented player and being Portuguese probably increases the appeal for Wolves, but there’s just no way the club would shell out such an amount.

Wolves spent big money on Fabio Silva last summer and should have faith in him to deliver – he is now starting to show promising signs.
Ideally, the club should be looking at someone far cheaper than Leao who is between the ages of Silva and Raul Jimenez, if there is a desire to add another forward this summer.
