Prospective new Wolves signing expected to be at Molineux for Nottingham Forest game

Wolves take on Nottingham Forest tomorrow night in the Premier League – and fans may well get a glimpse of a prospective new signing.

Wolves are looking to continue their good form since Vitor Pereira took over, but face a stern test in the form of high-flying Nottingham Forest.

Forest are currently third in the Premier League table and have been massively overperforming.

The Reds have proven themselves to be a very good all-round side this season, and are a well-organised outfit under former Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo.

But fans are still expecting some kind of result tomorrow night, with Wolves having shown signs of improvement over the last few weeks.

Pereira will need to strengthen the team in January, and it looks like Wolves could seal one transfer this coming week.

It’s been reported by The Telegraph that defender Emmanuel Agbadou is ‘expected’ to be in attendance tomorrow night at Molineux for the game between Wolves and Nottingham Forest.

Wolves have agreed on fee a with with Reims for the transfer of Agbadou.

Reims’ president Jean-Pierre Caillot has confirmed there’s an agreement over Agbadou, and it’s very much now a matter of time.

The game with Forest comes too soon for Agbadou to actually play.

But the Ivory Coast international could well be in contention to play for Wolves against Bristol City in the FA Cup on Saturday.

Pereira may also see that game as an opportunity to give Bastien Meupiyou his first minutes since signing for Wolves in the summer.

Boost for Wolves as Agbadou closes in on Molineux transfer

It’s good to see Wolves making moves fairly quickly in the transfer window.

It was important to get someone in early on in the window, and it’s looking like Agbadou will be available for Wolves’ FA Cup game with Bristol City.

It’s a bit of a shame the deal couldn’t be done in time for Agbadou to play against Forest.

But the game with Bristol City is perhaps a ‘nice’ one for him to potentially make his debut.

Wolves are thought to want to give Pereira two defensive recruits this month, so hopefully another new face will soon follow Agbadou to Molineux.
