Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Pedro Neto is said to be on Manchester United’s radar this summer, after they had previously declined the chance to snap him up.

Neto is flourishing at Molineux after taking the 2019/20 season to adapt to the rigours of English football.

This term he has been the standout player for Wolves and really taken responsibility as best he can in the absence of striker Raul Jimenez.

His dazzling feet have regularly led to compliments from neutral fans on social media, and there is an expectation that there will be some interest in him this summer.

According to an article in the Daily Express, Neto is actually now amongst United’s ‘most attractive options’, after the Red Devils decided against signing him after a trial in 2016.

Neto didn’t do enough to convince the club and headed back to SC Braga, before completing a move to Lazio.

Supposedly United’s interest in Jadon Sancho has cooled – although that could change – and Neto is an alternative.

It’s also claimed Manchester City are admirers of the 20-year-old.

No surprises here

Neto has had such an exciting season, it really comes as no surprise to already be reading about interest from big clubs.

Manchester United are crying out for a new right-winger so it’s easy to see why Neto would appeal given he can play there just as comfortably as on the left.

Neto did only sign a new deal at Molineux back in November, and hopefully that will be enough to keep him out of the clutches of United this summer.
