Wolverhampton Wanderers have completed the signing of Francisco Trincao on loan from Barcelona.

The youngster has become the club’s second addition of the summer, following the arrival of Yerson Mosquera.

Trincao arrives at Molineux looking to prove a point.

The talent has big potential, but struggled for starts at the Nou Camp last term.

Potentially, he’ll get decent time under Bruno Lage, especially with Pedro Neto being out injured.

The star broke his patella last season, and is set to miss the start of 2021/22.

Interestingly, Neto is someone Trincao knows quite well.

The pair played for their hometown club SC Vianense together as children during the 2008/09 season.

They then featured for Braga’s youth team in 2013.

Neto has already given his reaction to the news on Instagram, adding a post from wanderersnews to his Story.

Clearly Neto is quite excited about the prospect of playing with Trincao again.

Hopefully, the player is able to settle quite quickly.

Given he knows Neto, and there are lots of other Portuguese players at Molineux, there should be a decent chance of that.
