Pablo Sarabia eyed by Galatasaray just six months after joining Wolves

Pablo Sarabia has emerged as a transfer target for Galatasaray, just six months after he joined Wolves.

Fans are starting to get a little anxious about the way Wolves’ summer transfer window is going, with most of the news being about potential outgoings rather than incomings.

The latest player to be linked with an exit from Molineux is Sarabia.

Sarabia – described earlier this year as ‘a very complete player’ by Lopetegui – only joined Wanderers in the last window, sealing a £4.4 million move from Paris Saint-Germain.

He has only made 13 appearances for Wolves so far.

Despite that, Galatasaray have seemingly set their sights on him…

Galatasaray want Pablo Sarabia loan with option to buy

The claim comes from Turkish outlet A Spor.

Supposedly, work has already started on bringing Sarabia to Gala.

They go as far as to claim that Sarabia is actually keen to leave Molineux.

Apparently, Gala will seek to try and sign Sarabia on loan with an option to buy. Wanderers are said to value Sarabia at £8.5 million.

It is then stated that the player has received information about the state of play at the club from his fellow countryman Juan Mata, who has just left the club after one season.

There is surely no way this happens

It would be absolutely shocking if this happened, and the report should absolutely be taken with a pinch of salt.

Surely, there is no way Wolves would allow this to happen. A loan move would do absolutely nothing for Wanderers.

If Sarabia is going to leave, then it needs to be cash now, given the financial situation.

A Spor saying that Sarabia is keen to leave Molineux is a very bold claim to say the least.

He’s only just arrived at the club and potentially, he could be a key man for the club in 2023/24.

He’s started pre-season well, grabbing a nice assist against Vitoria in a friendly match.

The 31-year-old hasn’t pulled up trees yet in a Wolves shirt. But he’s a quality player and could be a different proposition in the new season, now that he’s got some experience of the Premier League.
