Wolves fans are hoping for a busy transfer deadline day, and there could be potential for one target to leave his club for a knock-down fee.
Wolves should sign Tolu Arokodare today, after the striker flew in yesterday from Belgium to finalise his move to Molineux.
Arokodare is not a replacement for Jorgen Strand Larsen, who has been told by Wolves he isn’t leaving today.
Wolves are also in the market for a new midfielder.
Wolves were said to have opened talks with Josh Brownhill with a view to a free swoop, but there is competition for the former Burnley man, who has a lucrative offer on the table from Saudi Arabia.
But another player who could be worth keeping an eye on today is Nicolas Raskin – especially given one claim this morning.
Nicolas Raskin could leave Rangers for a knock-down fee, Wolves monitoring

Raskin has been on Wolves’ radar since earlier in the summer.
The Belgium international is seen as one of the best midfielders in Scotland, and Russell Martin had recently branded him ‘a really outstanding footballer’ (via Rangers Review). But currently, there is major uncertainty around his future.
At the weekend, Raskin was left out of Rangers’ squad to face Celtic by Martin, amid speculation about his future.
According to The Scotsman, the 24-year-old’s relationship with Martin now appears to be ‘strained’ despite being a firm favourite with supporters. Both Wolves and Crystal Palace are monitoring his situation.
And interestingly, Keith Jackson, the chief football writer at the Daily Record has said this morning: “He’ll be sold at the 11th hour – probably for a knock-down fee – before the transfer window closes.
“It looks as if there is no way back for him under the current management.”
Another journalist at the Daily Record Michael Gannon added: “He waves goodbye and never plays for the club again. There’s no way back for the Belgian.”

How much could Raskin cost?
Recently, former Rangers interim manager Barry Ferguson stated that he felt Raskin was worth at least £15 million.
He said: “Nico can play in the Premier League all day long. I worked with him for three months. He has all the attributes and is still at a brilliant age.”
“He still has some things he needs to tidy up on, but he understands that. He’s got an opinion which I liked. He’s really interested and keen to learn. All day long he can play in the Premier League.
“Now, Rangers have got to be looking for big money for Nico. I am looking at £15 million at least for Nico – and the rest!”
Given his awkward situation and Jackson’s claim, perhaps there’d be scope for signing him a bit cheaper than this.
This said, Wolves would need to free up another non-homegrown slot in their squad in order for any move to happen.
