Former Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has returned to the Premier League and wants to raid his former club.
Wolves have already seen a few departures this January, with Luke Cundle heading on loan to Stoke City being the latest departure.
Another to leave the club is Sasa Kalajdzic. The 6ft 7in Austrian has headed on loan to Eintracht Frankfurt until the end of the season as he failed to grab his place in Gary O’Neil‘s team.
Aside from those who have already left the club, Wolves have also seen Max Kilman linked with West Ham along with Pedro Neto linked to several top clubs.
Jose Sa has also been linked with a move away, Nottingham Forest have been credited with interest as Nuno Espirito Santo looks to take a key player from his old side.
Now it’s been reported that Sa isn’t the only player Nuno wanted.

Nottingham Forest wanted to sign Sasa Kalajdzic
Kalajdzic has now left Wolves on a loan heading to the Bundesliga until July having failed to impress since his £15m move in 2022.
Before this happened though, Nottingham Forest had made enquiries over Kalajdzic, according to the Nottingham Post.
Fulham also held an interest, however Wolves wanted the striker to get regular game time which explains why he’s been sent to Germany.
However it is also suggested that this could be a move which the two Premier League sides return for in the summer with Nuno keen on the forward.
Wolves could be in line for a pay day in the summer
With interest in Kalajdzic remaining, there’s a chance that the summer brings a bidding war between the interested parties.
This would spell good news for Wolves with the chance to intake some cash which could be used to strengthen in a way which O’Neil wants.
With the need for financial caution still around, Wolves will take all the outgoing transfer fees they can get.
This could lead to something of a rebuild in the summer with several player who could bring a huge fee all rumoured to be on their way out.
