Wolves fans are not feeling particularly optimistic about the season ahead, but one of the club’s new signings has received some high praise.
Wolves have lost all three of their Premier League games so far.
It is already shaping up to be a difficult season, and the club then had an underwhelming end to the transfer window.
Some feel Wolves have really gambled with their recruitment strategy.
None of the new signings have any Premier League experience, and at the same time Wolves have just lost a host of players who were proven in the top-flight.
But one man who is potentially going to be really exciting is Tolu Arokodare.
Tolu Arokodare dubbed one of the best signings of the 2025 window

Arokodare was Wolves’ final signing of the summer, joining from Genk for around £24 million.
It was a signing that had been on the cards for a few days, so some weren’t getting too carried away when he was announced on deadline day.
Especially because many were so keen for Wolves to sign a new midfielder.
But Arokodare could potentially be a great addition, and Molineux News’ transfer expert Graeme Bailey thinks Wolves have snagged themselves a top player.
He said: “I think they’re pretty happy with what they did. The two full-backs I think they’re very happy with, Moller Wolfe and Tchatchoua. I think they both can come in and start intrinsically.
“But the one I think that holds the most intrigue is Tolu because potential-wise, and I tend to agree, I think he could be anything. He could be an absolute superstar and you could end up with Tolu and Strand Larsen and be in a very, very healthy in that position.
“He’s (Tolu) a very good player. I know I came across him when I knew Manchester United were looking at him earlier in the summer. Chelsea had a look at him as well. He’s a top player.
“For me personally, I think he’s one of the most exciting signings of the summer window, I do. I think he’s really good.”
Arokodare could really suit English football
It will be fascinating to see how Arokodare gets on for Wolves, but this could be a really shrewd signing by the club.
Yes, £24 million is a lot of money, and the kind that Wolves don’t spend on a single player very often any more.

But Arokodare might be worth the outlay as on the face of it, he looks very well suited to the Premier League.
We know it’s a physical league, and Arokodare is often contesting duels with defenders and coming out on top thanks to his intimidating 6ft 6in frame.
Arokodare’s strength was on show the other day for Nigeria against Rwanda in the build up to the goal he scored, and Wolves fans will hope to see plenty of that from the big man.
