Wolves managed to complete two new signings on transfer deadline day.
The club left it very late in the end to do their business, but fans are waking up today to see that both Nasser Djiga and Marshall Munetsi have both signed for the club.
Vitor Pereira had really wanted a second centre-back after signing Emmanuel Agbadou earlier in the window.
Wolves had wanted to sign Kevin Danso, but the Austria international joined Tottenham Hotspur at the eleventh hour.
But Wolves collected themselves and by yesterday morning, Wolves had agreed a deal with Red Star Belgrade to sign Djiga.
His signing was confirmed late last night, and both Jeff Shi and Matt Hobbs spoke about the club’s new recruit.

Jeff Shi admits Nasser Djiga transfer deal was ‘hard work’

Wolves signing two centre-backs was paramount this window, and Djiga will hopefully be able to have a similar kind of impact as Agbadou.
Djiga arrived at Wolves and ultimately, it was his stance that helped get the move done.
Galatasaray came in with a big bid for Djiga, but he rejected the proposal.
Last night, chairman Jeff Shi reacted to the signing, telling the Wolves official website: “We’re delighted to welcome Nasser to the club. This signing took hard work from a number of people, and we’re looking forward to seeing Nasser become integrated into the Wolves family.
“It was important that we supported Vitor this window and this signing is a strong investment for the club, with Nasser having great potential, and we’re looking forward to seeing him develop under our coaching staff.”
Matt Hobbs drops Djiga verdict
There was also word from sporting director Matt Hobbs last night on Djiga.
He makes it clear that Djiga is a player for the present under Pereira, as well as the future.
Speaking a bit about his style of play, Hobbs said: “Nasser is a player we believe can strengthen the squad, both in the short and longer term.
“Since Vitor came in that back three has been consistent, but Nasser’s the quick, aggressive centre-back we’ve been looking for to help the group and we’re looking forward to seeing him fight for his place.”
Quick and aggressive are traits we have seen from Agbadou, and the Ivorian has already become a real favourite at Molineux.
If Djiga can settle as quickly as him, then it bodes well for the rest of the season.
