In an update that is both surprising and unsurprising, Marshall Munetsi could be set to reunite with Vitor Pereira at Nottingham Forest.

Marshall Munetsi left Wolves on loan in January to sign for Paris FC, after producing a string of ineffective performances in an old gold shirt.

Should any of these NOT be on this list? And are there any who aren’t there who SHOULD be on? 🤔

The Athletic have claimed Wolves would like these nine players to stay after relegation…

And so far, Munetsi has actually had a fairly productive spell in France.

It was recently suggested that Munetsi was set to turn his move there permanent this summer.

But there’s now been a very interesting development regarding his future.

It’s been reported by journalist Santi Aouna that Munetsi could actually be headed for Nottingham Forest this summer.

He said on X: “Nottingham Forest and Wolverhampton are close to a principle agreement for Marshall Munetsi.

“However, the player’s priority remains Paris FC, where he wishes to continue the adventure.

“But… no discussions have been held with the capital club at this time.”

Is anyone really surprised by Vitor Pereira wanting Marshall Munetsi at Nottingham Forest? 😅

The claim comes after Munetsi had talked up joining Paris FC permanently…

How much should Wolves be looking to sell MM for? 🤔

Journalist Sebastien Dennis has reported the same information.

Earlier this month, Munetsi had strongly suggested that he was ready to stay at Paris FC, stating that he liked the project at the club and also that his family enjoyed being in Paris.

The interest from Forest is likely being driven by Pereira, who was never shy in complimenting Munesti at Wolves.

Indeed, Pereira handed him regular starts despite the consensus from fans being that he was extremely limited on the ball.

He said of him last September: “Munetsi is like an animal. Running and running and running, I know what I can expect from him. Very honest player.”

It now remains to be seen where he’ll end up going.

Forest and Pereira could appeal to the player, but he likes the Paris FC project.

Hopefully, Wolves can just recoup as much of the £16 million that was paid for him as possible.
