Mario Lemina has tonight taken to social media to post a lengthy goodbye message to Wolves fans.
The midfielder has long been linked with an exit from the club, having fallen from grace at Molineux over the last couple of months or so.
Last month, Vitor Pereira revealed Lemina had refused to play against Newcastle United, amid transfer rumours linking him to Al-Shabab.
After that, Pereira then stated he wouldn’t pick Lemina while the transfer window was still open.
It has essentially been only a matter of time until Mario Lemina has sealed his exit. Especially after Wolves signed Marshall Munetsi on transfer deadline day.
Earlier today, Lemina hinted his exit from Wolves was close with a post of an egg timer emoji on his Instagram Story.
Now, the player has posted a goodbye message ahead of his move to Galatasaray.

At the start of this campaign, no one saw Lemina leaving the club mid-season.
But the midfielder ended up crumbling under the weight of the captaincy and produced a string of poor performances and struggled to contain his emotions as skipper.
He has angered fans recently by refusing to play, with many seeing the situation as him downing tools, and abandoning the pack amid a relegation fight.
Tonight, Lemina has posted a lengthy goodbye message on Instagram, which reads: “Dear Wolves fans,
“Today, it’s time for me to say goodbye. When I joined Wolverhampton on January 13, 2023, I never imagined how special this journey would be and how profoundly it would impact me.
“I will never forget the incredible moments we shared, nor the passion and energy you, the supporters, brought to every match. Those moments of joy and challenge have helped me grow not only as a player, but also as a person.
“I will always be grateful for the love and support you showed to my family and me. I want to thank the club, the management, my teammates, the entire staff, and of course, you – the fans – for the trust you placed in me throughout my time here.
“Thank you for everything. And don’t forget to stay ‘together, as a pack’.”
Lemina message will not go down well with many Wolves fans
So Lemina has now posted his goodbye message, despite Galatasaray not yet officially announcing the transfer.
At this point, some will not find it at all surprising.
Lemina will have his version of events regarding his exit from the club. But from how it appears to the fans, Lemina abandoned his teammates at a time of need.
Any player can want to leave a club for any reason. It happens, but there are ways to go about it.
Many fans don’t feel Lemina showed the club respect, and many have been very critical of how he has seemingly behaved over the last few weeks.
Certainly, many will find this message from Lemina, especially the part at the end about staying together as a pack, very tone-deaf.
