Wolves are set for a busy end to the transfer window and the future of Matheus Cunha will be one of the biggest points of interest.
The Brazilian has been in the headlines all week, after reportedly stalling over signing a new contract at Wolves.
It was thought that Cunha and Wolves had a verbal agreement for him to extend.
But there’s been no breakthrough, and speculation has cranked up regarding his immediate future.
But Wolves proposing a new contract to Cunha was more about rewarding the player for his form, rather than getting him tied down.
Wolves are relaxed over Cunha, with the player not for sale. But there are always twists and turns when the transfer window is open – and supporters won’t take anything for granted.
One club said to be interested in Cunha is Manchester United.
The Red Devils are having a really poor season, and recently brought in Ruben Amorim to try and improve them.
Alejandro Garnacho could leave Manchester United

It’s been reported today that Alejandro Garnacho could be on his way out of United, with Chelsea lining up a bid of over £50 million.
They are described as his most realistic next destination by The Telegraph.
Garnacho has mostly played from the left side for United – and him potentially leaving has given United fans an idea.

Man United fans want Matheus Cunha to replace Garnacho
On social media, United fans have been talking about potential replacements for Garnacho if he leaves.
And many would love to see their club made a swoop for Cunha in the coming days, given he mostly plays from the left now.
Cunha not for sale
It’s understandable that United would have an interest in Cunha, and it seems a number of their fans are keen.
If Garnacho does leave, then it will be very interesting to see if the Red Devils do make a late attempt to sign Cunha.
But the indications at the moment are that Cunha is not for sale and Wolves expect him to stay.
The player still has two-and-a-half years left on his deal at Molineux, and Wolves are not under financial pressure to cash in.
But money talks, and if United can put a lot of it on the table, it’s likely Fosun will at least consider it.
Reportedly, Wolves would want at least £80 million for Cunha, although this valuation could well decrease if the player started agitating for a move and creating an issue for Wolves.
