The Mario Lemina transfer saga could have the ending every Wolves fan wanted as the player closes in on a move elsewhere.
Lemina has attracted interest from various clubs throughout this window. Al Shabab were the first to approach Lemina earlier on in January.
However, Vitor Pereira’s former club couldn’t strike a deal, and then Turkish giants Galatasaray emerged as a possible destination for the 31-year-old.
It’s become clear that Wolves fans wanted the midfielder to leave after Lemina refused to play against Newcastle and outlined his desire to exit Molineux.
Now, he could be granted his wish as Galatasaray closes in on a move for the former Juventus star.

Galatasaray are set to sign Mario Lemina in a £2.5 million deal
With Lemina’s contract expiring in 2025, Wolves placed a £5 million asking price on their former captain.
But as the transfer window reaches its conclusion, it appears the Wanderers hierarchy are willing to receive less to get him off the books.
As reported by journalist Ben Jacobs on X, Galatasaray have agreed a £2.5m fee for Lemina after Al Shabab failed to sign the Gabon international last month.
The Turkish giants had attempted to sign him throughout this window and barring any late hiccups, could confirm his arrival before the window shuts.
Lemina has already flown out to Turkey ahead of move to Galatasaray
A move for the midfielder appears to be moving fast as Lemina has already been pictured in Turkey ahead of his proposed transfer.
Lemina sent a message to Wolves after their incredible 2-0 win over Aston Villa but despite congratulating his teammates, he was never going to get back into their good books.
He threw them under the bus by refusing to play against the Magpies, and now he could get his desired transfer back to Turkey, seeing him return to the country he played in previously with Fenerbache.
Providing everything runs smoothly and he signs a contract with Galatasaray, he will leave Molineux after two years, 77 appearances and six goals at Wolves.
