Wolves are already thinking about the January transfer window according to fresh reports.
Gary O’Neil will be eager to get his squad in better shape before Christmas, as the Old Gold sit 19th in the Premier League table.
After nine games played, Wolves have earned only two points from a possible 27, seeing them settled four points below safety.
Last time out, the Midlands club secured a last-gasp point against Brighton, a result that O’Neil will hope can inspire his squad to kick on.

Wolves transfer news: Zakaria Aboukhlal targetted ahead of January window
For all of the lows that Wolves have experienced so far this season, it’s easy to forget just how talented O’Neil’s squad is.
The Old Gold are blessed with an arsenal of high-calibre players and reports are now suggesting that the manager is eager to add to his options.
That’s according to African football experts AfricaFoot, who have this week reported that Wolves are eyeing Toulouse winger Zakaria Aboukhlal.
The report claims that Wolves have made moves to ‘establish contact’ over a possible move, with a half-season loan plus purchase option being ‘considered’.
AfricaFoot adds that ‘talks have already started’ between the Ligue 1 side and Wolves, with discussions continuing as the weeks to the January transfer window count down.
What Wolves could expect from Aboukhlal
The 24-year-old is capable of playing on both wings, as well as being utilised when needed in central areas going forward.
It’s not been the easiest year for the Morocco international, who suffered a gruelling ACL injury and required surgery, seeing him miss a lot of action.
Having recently returned to the pitch, the Toulouse forward has started to find his feet again, contributing to four goals in nine Ligue 1 appearances this season.
Toulouse boss Carles Martinez Novell has shared his admiration for the winger’s mentality after returning from the sidelines, dubbing the Wolves target a ‘fighter’.
“Zak is a fighter, he’s a competitor. He’s the first to want to find a solution. We need that mindset, to always try to be better. And that’s Zak,” relayed by Les Violets.
A player of Aboukhlal’s profile would certainly be appreciated at Wolves, being an explosive and skilful wide player who is capable of contributing to the goals.
