Liam Keen shares if Wolves could make any more deadline day signings after Nasser Djiga and Marshall Munetsi

It has been a busy transfer deadline day at Wolves, and the club are closing in on two new signings.

Vitor Pereira had wanted a second centre-back after landing Emmanuel Agbadou earlier this month.

And that player is arriving at Wolves in the form of Nasser Djiga.

Wolves are also signing Marshall Munetsi from Reims to hand Pereira the midfielder he wanted, with Mario Lemina set to join Galatasaray.

There has been some talk about Conor Coady re-joining Wolves via a swap deal that would see Craig Dawson head to Leicester City.

Many Wolves fans want Coady to return, as they feel he could provide some much-needed leadership.

But Leicester rejected Wolves’ swap proposal involving Coady and Dawson, and an update has just been given to suggest nothing else will be happening on the incoming front.

According to journalist Liam Keen, Wolves are now expected to finish deadline day with the signings of Munetsi and Djiga.

There have been links to other players like Coady, Josh Brownhill and Volodymyr Brazhko.

But Keen said on X referring to the duo: ” Expecting these two to be the final incomings for Wolves on deadline day.”

Wolves’ deadline day has been a success

Fans were left disgruntled when Tottenham beat Wolves to Kevin Danso and after that happened, it was paramount for the club to respond today.

It looks as though Djiga and Munetsi -who’ve done their medicals in Paris – will both complete their moves as expected. Seemingly, there is very little chance of that swap deal involving Coady and Dawson happening.

But Pereira is getting players for the two positions he wanted the most.

These deals should probably have happened a couple of weeks ago. But the January window is notoriously difficult to operate in, so there can be some sympathy for those working on the deals.

Hopefully, now, Djiga and Munetsi can both come in and make instant impacts.
