The rumour mill is in full swing at Wolves as the January transfer window heats up.
Wolves have had an active January transfer window so far. Earlier this week, Emmanuel Agbadou signed for the Old Gold to reinforce its backline.
The defender was a much-needed addition to the team given the club’s awful record at the back so far this campaign.
However, now that the defence has received additions, speculation has begun on other potential targets.
Liam Keen dismisses Kelechi Iheanacho to Wolves rumours

One of the more recent rumours to do the rounds was Kelechi Iheanacho to Wolves. The striker had a long career in the Premier League playing for both Man City and Leicester.
However, his time in England came to an end in the summer when he moved to Spanish giants Sevilla after his contract expired.
Since the move, he has struggled and is yet to score a goal in La Liga. This has prompted speculation that he could be moved on, with Wolves reportedly an interested party.
Yet, journalist Liam Keen quickly shot down these rumours on the E&S Podcast.
He said: “There has been a little bit about Kelechi Iheanacho at Sevilla. He is a player that Wolves liked previously, they looked at him previously when he was at Leicester but they didn’t move for him at the time.
“While there are rumours about the club being in talks to sign him but as far as we understand that is not the case.
“Wolves are not making a move for him as it stands but he is a player that they have liked previously.”
Kelechi Iheanacho a risky signing
While a few seasons ago, Iheanacho would have been seen as a great signing, time has now caught up with the youngster.
The striker is now 28 years old and has struggled throughout the 2024/25 campaign.
Therefore, while the attacker would likely only be a backup for Wolves, it would be unnecessarily risky.
The last thing Wolves need is an out-of-form striker while the club is in a relegation battle.
