Wolves will be busy this summer, and the future of one player who joined not so long ago looks to be in doubt.
Fans are very excited about the next transfer window, with Vitor Pereira having shown himself to be a really good manager since replacing Gary O’Neil.
Wolves fans feel he’s earned the backing of Fosun, and the hope is that the owners will hand him the tools he needs to take the team to the next level.
But there will be a number of players departing this summer.
Matheus Cunha is almost certain to leave for the value of his release clause, and Nelson Semedo is also likely to leave Wolves when his contract expires.
The likes of Pablo Sarabia, Tommy Doyle and Goncalo Guedes could also all depart.
More recently, it’s been claimed Sam Johnstone could leave – and he now has interest from Leeds United.
Leeds United eye Sam Johnstone transfer

As reported by Alan Nixon via his Patreon, Leeds United have now registered their interest in Sam Johnstone.
Goalkeeper Johnstone has had a difficult season following his transfer to Wolves last summer.
He made the £10 million move (BBC Sport) from Crystal Palace in the hope of becoming a number one again.
But after initially playing, he lost his place to Jose Sa, who has been the clear favourite for Pereira.
Nixon claims that Johnstone has emerged as a target for Leeds, who are looking to replace the error-prone Illan Meslier.
They are said to be on ‘red alert’ for the player, as their other targets – Nick Pope and James Trafford could be too expensive.
Wolves are said to be keen to get Johnstone’s wages off their bill.
Sam Johnstone’s stance amid Leeds interest
It was recently reported that Johnstone would be keen to leave Wolves this summer.
The club are ready to make the goalkeeper position a priority, although it’s not currently clear whether the intention is to sign a replacement for Johnstone and keep Sa, or offload both and buy a new number one with Dan Bentley to serve as a number two again.
Johnstone’s move to Wolves just has not worked out.

He failed to impress, and Sa managed to oust him and then keep his place. And the Portuguese has been relatively solid recently.
So this will be one to keep an eye on heading into the summer.
Surely, everything points to the player leaving. If not to Leeds, then to someone else.
