Sasa Kalajdzic is reportedly now just one step away from sealing an exit from Wolves, with an agreement being reached on all sides for him to join Eintracht Frankfurt.
The striker is all set to follow Fabio Silva out of Molineux this month, after struggling for minutes.
Earlier this week it was reported that Kalajdzic had given Eintracht the green light.
Today, it was claimed that even though Kalajdzic was keen to join Eintracht, there were two other Bundesliga clubs interested in signing him – Stuttgart and Wolfsburg.
Now, there is a big update from journalist Florian Plettenburg…
Agreement on all sides for Sasa Kalajdzic to join Eintracht Frankfurth but Wolves waiting to do one thing

This story has moved fairly quickly, and now there is word from respected journalist Florian Plettenburg, who works for Sky Germany.
Taking to X this afternoon, he has reported that there is an agreement on all sides for the Austrian to join Eintracht. That includes an agreement between the two clubs, which previously had not been the case. He said: “News Hugo #Ekitiké: @Eintracht is back in the race again! As reported in our show this afternoon. #SGE is interested as they still want to sign two more strikers in winter.
“#Kalajdzic: He gets the green light once the Wolves find a replacement – it’s all done with the player and between the clubs. Ekitiké and #Kalimuendo are the other hot options!”
It means the player is now just one step away from making the move. But that step is a fairly big one.
Plettenburg reports that Wolves will sanction the move once they sign a replacement for Kalajdzic.
Recently, the club have been linked with moves for Che Adams, Boulaye Dia and Hugo Ekitike.
A matter of time before Kalajdzic leaves
This has developed quite quickly, but there is potential for it to go quiet again depending on Wolves’ move for a new striker.
We will see who the club move for, but hopefully it can happen fairly soon.
Kalajdzic will certainly be hoping that is the case, as it has been a frustrating season for the big man. It is actually fairly surprising to see how little he’s featured, especially recently.
Because he showed earlier in the season that he can be effective, scoring two late winners against Everton and Bournemouth.
He’ll likely want to leave as soon as possible, so that he can start getting minutes under his belt again with Euro 2024 coming up later this year.
