Jude Bellingham’s expected move to Real Madrid could have significance for Wolves, with Borussia Dortmund reportedly looking at Enzo Le Fee to replace him.
It was reported yesterday that Real are closing in on the England international.
Personal terms are supposedly almost agreed. But a fee is yet to be sorted.
But the expectation is that he will join the Spanish heavyweights this summer, with Manchester City and Liverpool dropping out of the race.
Dortmund are already looking at potential replacements for the 19-year-old.
Foot Mercato reported at the end of March that Dortmund were interested in Le Fee.
Supposedly, the Frenchman is a player on Wolves’ transfer radar heading into the summer. The maestro has already stated that he will be leaving Lorient.
Wolves are set to lose Ruben Neves this summer, and Joao Moutinho may also leave given he is out of contract.
But if Wolves had plans to sign Le Fee then things may not be straightforward.
The suggestion from GFFN is that Bellingham’s impending move to Madrid could now see Dortmund intensify their pursuit of Le Fee.
Wolves may have to act soon if they want to sign Enzo Le Fee, with Jude Bellingham set for Real Madrid
So it looks as though Bellingham will be making his long-anticipated move to the Bernabeu.
And it appears Dortmund are keen to get a replacement for him secured.
Le Fee, 23, has been mentioned as a possible target for Wolves. And he would make a great addition. But this Bellingham deal may scupper Wolves’ chances of a transfer.
Dortmund tend to be quite snappy when it comes to replacing players.
So if the German giants really do like Le Fee then Wolves are going to have to move quickly if he’s a player they want too.
