Journalist names 6 Wolves youngsters who could seal loan exits this week

Wolves are not expected to be particularly busy on the incomings front this week, as the January transfer window nears its end.

The club have brought in Hayao Kawabe and Chiquinho so far, with the former heading out on loan to Grasshoppers.

Chiquinho is expected to be a part of the first-team squad. He was on Bruno Lage’s bench for the first time on Saturday against Brentford.

With just one week left in the window, a number of players could now be following Kawabe in making loan exits from the club.

The Athletic reporter Tim Spiers has today brought an update, and named six players who could be departing.

Firstly Dion Sanderson and Ryan Giles, both recalled from their loans in the Championship earlier this month, could head out again.

On Sanderson, 22, apparently Queens Park Rangers are in pole position to land the central defender. That’s despite Sheffield United coming in with a late loan offer.

He then adds that Bruno Jordao and Christian Marques could also leave.

Jordao recently returned to full fitness and has been mainly with the U23s. Marques recently saw his loan spell with Belenenses terminated after not making a single first-team appearance.

Lastly, goalkeepers Louie Moulden and Andreas Sondegaard could also be set for loan moves.

Wolves youngsters need to be playing

Hopefully Wolves are able to get most of these young players out on loan this week.

Barring Moulden and Jordao, they have all previously been out on loan already this season to varying degrees of success.

It will be good for them to get regular minutes in senior football, which is obviously massively different to youth team football.

It is especially important that Sanderson and Giles get back playing regularly again.

The pair were doing really well in the Championship with Birmingham City and Cardiff City respectively.

They are probably the two who are most advanced in their development. So it would be good for them to get back playing again.
