Wolves are said to see winger Pedro Neto as a £50 million player at least, according to talkSPORT journalist Alex Crook.
There has been talk about Neto over the last few weeks following the star’s fine start to 2023/24 which has seen him make seven assists in the Premier League.
Neto was flying for Wolves, but then unfortunately suffered a hamstring injury that ruled him out for a couple of months.
The Portuguese recently returned to action, and is now looking to pick up where he left off.
Despite Neto’s lack of involvement recently, there has still been speculation about his future – and Alex Crook has been speaking about the 23-year-old’s valuation…
Wolves see Pedro Neto as a £50 million player

Crook was speaking about Neto on TalkSPORT’s January Transfer Window Show.
Once again this window, Neto has been linked with a move to Arsenal, who have long admired the forward now.
Crook said: “Certainly when they (Arsenal) were linked this time last year, the price quoted was £35 million. I was told from sources close to Wolves it would take a lot more than that.
“I think they probably see him as a £50 million player.
“I think they are one of those clubs, and this is where Max Kilman is interesting as well, if a big-money offer did come in, I think financially they have to seriously consider it.”
Any departure for Neto in the next couple of weeks is very unlikely. The player recently said that he was very happy at Wolves, and he will be absolutely key if Wanderers have any ambitions to try and break into the top 10.
Wolves must make Pedro Neto a club-record sale if he has to leave
Realistically, Wolves will be facing a big battle to keep Neto this summer.
He was absolutely electric before his injury, with Molineux legend John Richards branding him ‘outstanding’.
The claim from Crook is that Wolves ‘probably’ see Neto as a £50 million player, but the club should be asking for more money than that.
Neto is a seriously talented winger with enormous potential. This summer, he will still have three years left on his contract at Molineux, which puts the club in a very strong position.
Realistically, Neto should be costing more than the £53 million Matheus Nunes was sold for, which is the club’s current record player sale.
In the summer, a new FFP cycle will begin meaning Wolves will not be under as much pressure to sell players, which strengthens the club’s position even further.
