The vultures continue to circle Wolves during the summer transfer window, and striker Jorgen Strand Larsen is the latest to be linked with an exit.
Wolves accepted that Rayan Ait-Nouri and Matheus Cunha were going to leave at the start of the summer, seeing the pair join Manchester City and Manchester United, respectively.
Since then, some of Vitor Pereira’s other prized assets have drawn interest. Juventus have been linked with Andre, although the Old Gold remain firm in their stance that he isn’t for sale.
Tottenham are also keeping tabs on Joao Gomes, who the club would only sell for a huge price this summer.
Now, after an excellent debut campaign in the Premier League, striker Jorgen Strand Larsen is wanted by a Premier League rival.

Jorgen Strand Larsen is ‘happy’ at Wolves amid Newcastle interest
Strand Larsen’s move to Wolves was made permanent this summer after joining on loan from Celta Vigo in 2024 with an obligation to buy.
The Norwegian plundered 14 league goals during 2024/25 and was a key focal point at the top end of the pitch, only trailing Cunha by one goal.
The 25-year-old will play an important role at Molineux next season, and hopefully, improve on his tally from last term.
However, E&S journalist Liam Keen revealed the shocking news that Newcastle United ‘hold a strong interest’ in Strand Larsen as a possible replacement for Alexander Isak.
In recent days, the Swedish superstar has told the Magpies he wants to explore his options amid links to Liverpool, and now, Eddie Howe is weighing up a replacement for him.
Benjamin Sesko is the main target on their list, but Strand Larsen is ‘admired’ by the Champions League outfit, and they could make a move.
That being said, any pursuit for him is likely to be thwarted, as Wolves have no interest in selling him, and the former Celta Vigo striker is ‘happy’ in Wolverhampton.
Strand Larsen holds the key to Wolves hopes in 2025/26
After the sales of Cunha and Ait-Nouri, Wolves are in a strong position with PSR and have the headroom to splash the cash if they wish.
That is why they’re under no pressure to sell any more of their important players, with Strand Larsen joining Andre and Gomes in that bracket.
With Cunha turning out for Manchester United, the importance of keeping Strand Larsen is even greater, as the Norwegian international is key to their chances next season.
He is by far the most clinical finisher at the football club and it is why Wolves are looking for a striker to support him.
It would be catastrophic if Wolves sold Strand Larsen for any price, as it’s difficult to find someone capable of scoring goals in the Premier League without paying the premium.
