The transfer window is now open – and predictably there is already speculation about Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen.
The Wolves number nine has come out of Wolves starting XI for the last few games, with Rob Edwards preferring Tolu Arokodare and Hwang Hee-chan as a partnership.
It was a move that a lot of fans have been calling for.
Jorgen Strand Larsen has unfortunately really struggled this season, scoring just once in the Premier League so far.
As a result of his drop-off, there has been talk of Strand Larsen leaving in this window.
West Ham United were first linked with Strand Larsen, but they have now moved on after signing Pablo Felipe. Taty Castellanos will also join the Hammers.
But Strand Larsen still has plenty of other suitors, with Crystal Palace linked and Everton having also been mentioned.
But now it’s been claimed that one former interested club could come calling again, as well as a brand new one.
Newcastle could make fresh Jorgen Strand Larsen swoop

Towards the end of the summer window, Newcastle attempted to sign Jorgen Strand Larsen from Wolves.
The Magpies made two bids, one with £50 million and one worth £55 million.
Wolves’ stance was firm; Strand Larsen was not to be sold – and Newcastle then gave up, and signed Nick Woltemade.
Fill in the blank: Jorgen Strand Larsen is now worth £___million.
According to TEAMtalk though, Newcastle could now come in back for Strand Larsen in a cut-price move.
Wolves are open to offers around the £40 million mark, which is considerably less than what Newcastle were going to pay in the summer.
They are said to still ‘greatly appreciate’ Strand Larsen, so we’ll see if an official bid arrives soon.

Tottenham also linked with Strand Larsen
So a former suitor could make a move for Strand Larsen, and TEAMtalk also say that a brand new club are in the hunt for Wolves’ number nine.
Apparently, Tottenham Hotspur are also being informed about Strand Larsen’s situation, as they seek to strengthen for the second half of the season.

Spurs have had a disappointing start to 2025/26 and currently sit 13th in the table.
Spurs have been on the receiving end of Strand Larsen’s quality before, with the striker scoring twice in three appearances against them, so seemingly, he left a lasting impression.
