Agent Jorge Mendes has branded Ansu Fati ‘a phenomenon’, amid new transfer speculation linking the winger with a move to Wolves.
Wanderers are apparently interested in Fati, 20, along with Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United.

The youngster’s future is currently up in the air.
He has not been starting regularly for Barca in 2023. Manager Xavi has preferred other options in the wide areas.
Earlier this year, Ansu’s father Bori Fati expressed his displeasure at the situation. He wants his son to leave the club.
El Chiringuito journalist José Alvarez has claimed Barca could be tempted to sell Fati for somewhere between £35 million and £44 million.
Barca have had financial problems in recent times and the feeling is that they may be needing to make a few big sales this summer.
Fati is seemingly a player they are ready to offload.
Wolves being linked is exciting. While Fati hasn’t quite lived up the early hype around him yet, he obviously has huge potential.

And someone who really rates him highly is his agent, Mendes.
Mendes has overseen several transfer deals for Wolves in recent years.
SPORT have reported on Mendes arriving at Barcelona airport today. He has flown in for talks with representatives about Fati. It is stated he will be meeting the player later to discuss his situation.
Mendes was greeted by reporters at the airport, and they asked him about Fati and what’s going on with him. He said: “Ansu is a great player, he has shown all his value before the injury, he showed that he is a phenomenon and now we will see what will happen.”
Ansu Fati surely has a reasonable chance of joining Wolves this summer with Jorge Mendes involved
There has to be a fairly decent chance of Wolves snapping up Fati this summer.
Mendes has facilitated lots of deals for Wolves since Fosun acquired the club.
Wanderers didn’t rely on him too much in January. But he remains someone they can work with to get players into the club.

Fati may like the idea of coming to the Premier League and at Wolves, there is a growing Spanish contingent.
Obviously the manager is from Spain, as are Adama Traore, Jonny Castro Otto, Pablo Sarabia and Hugo Bueno. Diego Costa speaks Spanish.
Portuguese is a similar language to Spanish and obviously Wolves have plenty of players hailing from Portugal. So it’s a dressing room he might just fancy being a part of.
