Fabio Silva is generating a lot of transfer interest this summer, with an increased possibility that Wolves will cash in on their striker.
After a productive loan spell at Las Palmas, where he hit double figures for goals, Wolves have an opportunity to sell the player they paid a whopping £35 million for in 2020.
Atletico Madrid are eyeing Silva alongside some of their La Liga rivals, while top German clubs such as Borussia Dortmund could target a move for Silva.
A year ago, it seemed unthinkable that Wolves could recoup most of what they paid for the 22-year-old, but now, the Wanderers hierarchy are hopeful someone will sign him for a sizeable fee.

Wolves fans react to Fabio Silva’s £25 million price tag
While Silva hinted at possibly staying at Wolves, he will likely be exiting once and for all, with most fans happy to see the back of one of the worst signings of the Fosun era.
However, it has been reported that the Spanish side Real Betis have been put off by Silva’s £25 million price tag, as the Old Gold aim to use his goalscoring form to generate a higher fee.
Reacting to this news via X, Wolves fans can’t believe the club are trying to receive £25m for the Portuguese international.
“So we want basically the same for what we got for Ait-Nouri? Joke club,” one fan said after Rayan Ait-Nouri was sold to Manchester City.
“Yeh no way we’re getting that,” another responded while someone else replied: “Crazy club.”
“If we don’t spend north of £150M this window I’m calling it quits,” one supporter threatened.
“More chance of getting £30m rupees,” a sixth commented.
Wolves are making a mistake by demanding £25m for Silva
Molineux News understands that Wolves want to insert a sell-on fee in Silva’s contract, but there is a catch, as transfer expert Graeme Bailey explained.
“Possibly [Wolves could agree a high sell-on fee], but with that, you reduce the overall fee,” Bailey explained.
“A good example is Mason Greenwood at Marseille, where United let him go for £26m, which is well below his market value, but then you’ve got a huge sell-on.
“Wolves could allow Silva to go for a lesser fee than what they can get, that’s part of the conversation gamble in the transfer world.”
Indeed, by trying to get £25 million for Silva, they reduce their chances of receiving a sell-on fee for the player, and that is a huge mistake.
The Wolves centre-forward is still only 22, and if he continues the momentum generated from last season, he could easily become a £50m+ player in the future.
So, if the Wanderers ask for a lower fee but insert a high sell-on clause, then there’s a chance they’d make more money in the future, rather than opting for a higher fee and no sell-on clause.
