Jhon Arias will soon be a Wolves player, with the star having been pictured at an airport ahead of his move to Molineux.
After weeks of inactivity on the incomings front, Wolves will soon be confirming their second signing of the window.
Wolves reached an agreement with Fluminense last week for the transfer of Arias, after some days of slight uncertainty.
The club are set to pay around £19 million all in for Jhon Arias, with some of that money going to his former club Patriotas.
That had been one of the reasons for the hold up last week, with Patriotas owning 75% of the player’s rights. That figure has now been renegotiated, to allow Fluminense to keep more of the money.
Fluminense have already confirmed Arias’ exit ahead of his move to Wolves.
And now, the player is on his way to England to get this move finalised.
Jhon Arias spotted at airport as Wolves transfer inches closer
Arias had been set to do his medical at Wolves this week – and that seems to be on track.
Today, a video clip has surfaced on social media – shared by SportsMixTV – of Arias at Galeão Airport this morning.
The player can be seen walking through a barrier, ahead of catching his flight.
Jhon Arias sends emotional message on Instagram to Fluminense fans ahead of Wolves move

Arias received a hero’s reception after his farewell appearance for Fluminense against Cruzeiro last week.
From those scenes, it was very clear to see that he is a player who’s made his mark at the club, and some who made some very important contributions.
He was a big favourite with the fans, and Wolves supporters will now hope to strike up a similar kind of bond with the Colombian.
And the feelings of Arias towards the Fluminense fans are very much mutual, with the 27-year-old today posting an emotional message on Instagram.
He said: “Thank you for everything Fluminense FC, I will be eternally grateful. To each coach (Marcão, Abel, Fernando Diniz, Mano Menezes, Renato) and their commissions.
To the professionals in the fields of Physiotherapy, Physiology, Physical preparation, Nutrition, Psychology, Scout, Video analysis, Safety, Cleaning, Cafeteria, Laundry.
“To all my teammates and friends that I hung out with during my time in the club, we created great partners and made history together. To President Mario, Matheus, Paulo Angioni and all the members of the board.
“And you Tricolor cheer for showing me so much love whether in the street, in hotels, airports, in Maracanã or any corner of the world.
“For teaching me what it means to be Fluminense and to be proud to be Tricolor. This is not goodbye… see you soon! Tricolor Greetings.”
Certainly, the final part of that message from Arias is a strong suggestion that he will return to the club one day. Clearly, playing for Fluminense was something he really loved.
