Hugo Bueno came in for high praise from Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher after Wolves’ 1-1 draw with Fulham.
Wanderers came away with a point at Craven Cottage, which is not a bad result considering Fulham’s form.
That said, Wolves did take the lead in the game. So it was disappointing not to get back to winning ways.
And now, there are some tricky games on the horizon.
Against Fulham, Bueno had a strong outing for the visitors.
His form dipped slightly recently. But Bueno was really good down in the capital, and the full-back conducted an interview live on Sky Sports after the game.
He had been named Player of the Match by Carragher, who was full of compliments for the Spaniard.
He told him (Sky Sports): “I thought you were excellent. That combination between you and (Matheus) Nunes down the left side, especially in the first-half…
“The second-half you (Wolves) didn’t play as well, but you were still an attacking threat. I think twice you got down here and put some really good crosses in. So I was really impressed, so a well deserved Player of the Match.”
That was Bueno’s 14th appearance for Wolves in the Premier League so far this season.

It was a great display by Bueno at Craven Cottage, and it’s good to see him pick his level back up again after a slightly dip recently.
When Fernando Marcal left Molineux last summer, many assumed the left-back position would be Rayan Ait-Nouri’s easily.
But Bueno has come in and taken his opportunity with both hands.
He is a Premier League-quality player, and it’s brilliant to see someone who has worked so hard thriving.
Julen Lopetegui recently tipped Bueno to shine in the coming years. It has certainly been an amazing start.
