It has been a bit of a slow summer so far at Wolves, with the club only signing one player.
Fer Lopez has joined from Celta Vigo, but a handful of key players have departed.
Matheus Cunha, Rayan Ait-Nouri and Pablo Sarabia have left, as have Craig Dawson and Carlos Forbs – with several more likely to follow them out.
All eyes are on Nelson Semedo at the moment, after he officially became a free agent.
Semedo has a four-year contract offer still on the table from Wolves, and there is still faint hope that he signs it.
But Molineux News has learned Wolves aren’t optimistic about Semedo extending, feeling he is more likely to move abroad.
But Wolves have made one other official announcement today, and it regards Jorgen Strand Larsen.
Wolves fan react as Jorgen Strand Larsen becomes a permanent signing

While there remains uncertainty over Semedo, one man who will definitely be here next season is Jorgen Strand Larsen.
Because Wolves have announced this morning that Strand Larsen is now a permanent player, after his option to buy clause was automatically triggered.
Strand Larsen passed the threshold of appearances he needed to make the move permanent midway through last season.
And it’s thought the transfer costs Wolves around £23 million.
On social media, Wolves fans have expressed their delight.
@jakkunderwood: “He is going to rip the Prem apart next season under Vitor 😍”
@_mb188: “Build the attack around him immediately, such a good player.”
@_Wulfunian_: “Good lad! He had a great season this season. Hopefully in the coming weeks we can give him a proper partner.”
@callum_wwfc1: “This is great news, any update on the captain as well?”

Strand Larsen has become vital for Wolves
This announcement had been expected, after the suggestion earlier this year that the striker had played enough games to earn a permanent move.
There was never any danger of him not coming back for next season, but it’s still great to know that Strand Larsen is now a permanent Wolves player.
His first season was extremely impressive all things considered.
Jorgen Strand Larsen for Wolves
Appearances – 38
Goals – 14
Assists – 5
There is a lot to be said for scoring 19 non-penalty goals in your first season in the Premier League, and in the second half of 2024/25 he really stepped up to the plate in the absence of Matheus Cunha.
The £23 million transfer fee is a bargain for a player of his quality and suitability for the English game.
The hope now is that he can build on what he did in his first team, and Wolves ought to provide him with the right support and competition in order to achieve that.
