Wolves are getting down to business with just over a day remaining in the transfer window.
The club were quiet for a number of weeks, but have now officially signed Bastien Meupiyou, who is expected to be the first of a few new faces before Friday’s deadline.
Goalkeeper Sam Johnstone is also expected to be confirmed as a new signing, as is Brazilian midfielder Andre.
It is all going on at Wolves, with a number of outgoings expected too.
But one man who looks as if he won’t be making a switch to Molineux is Nayef Aguerd, who emerged as a loan target for Wolves around Thursday lunchtime.
Aguerd is not wanted by Julen Lopetegi at the London Stadium and is set to leave the club.
But Wolves don’t appear to be a move the player wants.
Nayef Aguerd reportedly doesn’t want Wolves move

It has been claimed by French journalist Sant Aouna that Aguerd is actually not keen to make a move to Wolves from West Ham before the transfer deadline.
On X, journalist Sant Aouna responded to news that Wolves were interested in the player.
He said: “True. But player is not keen on Wolves. He will not sign there.”
Aouna then followed up with another message later, and it appears £50,000-a-week man Aguerd could be in line to make a move to Saudi Arabia.
He added: “Al-Ittihad sent an official bid today to West Ham for Nayef Aguerd. Villarreal, Real Sociedad and many European clubs are also there for the Moroccan CB.”
Wolves must seek alternative

So if Aouna is to be believed then Wolves can probably forget about signing Aguerd on loan.
Gary O’Neil has made no secret of the fact he only wants players who are committed to playing for Wolves and seemingly, Aguerd doesn’t fancy the move.
Wolves must now see if they can bring in someone else before the deadline, as Meupiyou will obviously be eased in at the club and cannot be expected to be a first-teamer starter straight away.
O’Neil may take heart from how both Santiago Bueno and Craig Dawson played against Burnley in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night thought.
The duo, who replaced Toti Gomes and Yerson Mosquera in the backline, both played very well and the manager may feel slightly better about the situation.
But Wolves should still see who could be an option for them, especially if Bueno makes a late push to leave, following claims he could seek a loan.
