Wolves are in a precarious position right now and fans are desperate for key players to stay at the club.
Vitor Pereira has spoken about bringing in new faces this month, and has already seen Emmanuel Agbadou come through the door.
It was a positive start from Wolves, but things have quietened down for the past couple of weeks.
It looks as though Wolves were about to make a second signing, but Manu Silva has chosen to join Benfica thanks mainly to them being able to offer European football.
Wolves fans hope that one or two new faces will still arrive, but it’s also absolutely vital that Wolves keep hold of key players.
Matheus Cunha remains a target for top clubs, and there is fresh concern with the Brazilian having still not agreed a new contract at Molineux. Fabrizio Romano has reported there are still ‘final details’ for Wolves and Cunha to agree on.
But one man who may also become a target in the final days of the transfer window is Rayan Ait-Nouri.
Manchester United make Rayan Ait-Nouri a priority, Wolves could demand £50 million

According to a new report from Caught Offside, Manchester United have now switched their attention to Rayan Ait-Nouri and will focus on the Algerian for the remainder of the January transfer window.
They have made the Wolves ace a ‘priority’, after giving up their pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain’s Nuno Mendes.
It is suggested that Wolves would possibly be open to letting Ait-Nouri go for a bid in the region of £46.5-50 million.
Ruben Amorim came in at United and changed their system to one that uses wing-backs.
He had success with that system in Portugal with Sporting CP, but currently doesn’t have many players who fit that system.
As Wolves fans well know, Ait-Nouri is very well suited to playing as a wing-back, as it allows him to get forward and affect play in the final third – this season, he has nine goal contributions already.
Wolves must resist Ait-Nouri sale amid Man United transfer interest
We all know what the transfer model is at Wolves, and fans will not put it past Fosun to sanction the sale of Ait-Nouri this month.
But that would be a silly move given Wolves’ current position.
While it’s more important that Wolves keep Cunha, Ait-Nouri is also a very important player for Wolves, especially for the current system.

Wolves would have Rodrigo Gomes there as a replacement for Ait-Nouri if he were to leave.
But Wolves cannot give into temptation to sell Ait-Nouri, who’s proven he’s a maverick and can make things happen in the final third.
Pereira praised Ait-Nouri’s ‘quality’ just days after he succeeded Gary O’Neil, suggesting that he would not be open to losing the player this month.
Fosun should not entertain interest in Ait-Nouri, and should revisit the situation in the summer.
